Faith Formation

We are excited to invite you to join our Faith Formation program!

Alex (our Catechist from last year) will be returning this year, along with new FMCA teacher, Haila. They are very eager to work alongside your children! Due to last year’s positive feedback, we are also excited to be continuing our Faith Formation program in the same format as last year. To assist with the cost of materials and lunches, we are asking $15/child this year. (There is a family cap of $45). Cash or checks made to St. Michael’s Parish are gratefully accepted.

All age groups will meet for Faith Formation on the fourth Sunday of each month, shortly following the 11AM mass. Our tentative schedule is as follows:

12:15: Faith Formation doors open (Parent drop off)

12:15-12:30: Student Sign In/Gather/Socialize

12:30-1:00: Lunch is Provided

1:00-1:45: Faith Formation Instructional Time *During this time, students may be split into age-appropriate small groups dependent upon size/age range within the same room.

1:45-2:45: Faith in Action *That’s right – we’re heading out to help within the community! The end time for these activities may vary by 10-15 minutes dependent upon location and activity.

Pickup times will be specified each month prior to class.  Parents will be asked to bring children to the classroom to sign them in – an elementary student may not sign themselves in. We ask that parents follow the same procedure at the conclusion of class – please come inside and sign them out.

We invite ALL PARENTS AND CHILDREN to our registration on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 5:00-6:00PM. This will be a meet and greet/Q&A format. You’re welcome to drop by any time from 5-6PM. This will be a great time to meet Haila and reconnect with Alex! Our first class will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Please contact Lindsay DeGabriele, faithformation@stmichaelmqt.org, with any questions or comments you may have.As we gear up for a new year, we will keep all our St. Michael families in our prayers.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
